I know I'm late to this conversation but I'm on my 2nd set of Pilot Road IV GT's and the first set lasted 14,000 miles on my heavy BMW. I'd definitely recommend them.

I just replaced them with Dunlop RoadSmart 4's. They are supposed to be equivalent but were a bit cheaper. I only have 800 miles on them so I don't know much about them yet.
