Here's a shout out to Mitch on his Repsol rocket who spotted me shut down on the side of the road out near Buckley AFB this afternoon and turned around and came back to help. Somehow the oil filler cap on my 04 T-Bird Sport had come loose and the red oil light came on and she shut down. I speculate I've been losing a little oil over the course of several rides. No sign of it on my garage floor and not enough mess on the bike to catch my attention. Anyway, Mitch pulled up, heard my plight and said he'd be back in a minute with oil. He returned with 2 quarts stuffed into his riding jacket. Would not take a cent for them. He made sure I was good to go and off we rode in opposite directions.
