Sara and I are unable to do Saturday, unfortunately.  We have a couple of appointments.

But Bunk House Burgers, Chicago Bob's BBQ and Royal Gorge Brewing Company are all pretty good.

Since the weather is supposed to be much nicer on Saturday than on Sunday, I will be leading a ride on Saturday 11/4. 

Meeting place:  Sedalia Grille (or whatever they're calling the Sedalia Grille these days!) in Sedalia

Meeting Time:  Around 8:30, coffee, gas and food available at the gas station there

Kickstands Up:  9:00 AM

Route:  Given the sketchy nature of weather and roads this time of year, I've decided to stay out of the higher mountain roads like US 285: 

CR 105 from Sedalia through Palmer Lake and Monument,,

From there we'll take get back onto I-25 through Colorado Springs.  Take the South Nevada Exit (Exit 140) to CO 115 South. 

Since we're likely to get some folks separated (depending on how many go on the ride) let's re-group near the main entrance to Fort Carson on CO 115. 

Once we're back together, we'll continue South on CO115 to Penrose and turn Right onto US 50 into Canon City. 

Total distance is about 100 miles from Sedalia to Canon City.  Time should be approximately 2 hours which should put us into Canon City for an early lunch.  

Any recommendations for a lunch spot in Canon City? 

From Canon City you're on your own - you can return the same way via CO115, through Pueblo and then I-25 or if you're feeling adventurous and have warm gear, you might want to head back via CO 9 to Guffey, High Park Road and Woodland Park (I think that's the route I'll take.)
