Dan: Glad to hear that your "baby" is in a safe place.
Sean: Sellers are supposed to put mileage on the back of the title and then certify whether, to the best of their knowledge, the mileage is true or not true. I suppose if the seller did not complete this or completed it incorrectly, Dan might be able to void the sale but I don't know why he would.
An uncertain odometer could affect resale value but since I'm pretty sure Dan has never sold a motorcycle, I don't think he's worried about resale value!

So how many miles do you suppose it does have? I suppose you could use a GPS based speedo and put all sorts of miles on a bike. I suppose Erico can give a rough estimate based on typical wear?
But don't you have to certify that the odometer is working and that the mileage is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge when you sell a vehicle?

Erico's will fix these few glitches. The engine feels smooth and strong, clutch works well, shifting is smooth and the transmission is quiet. Riding it from Hampden and I-25 down to Erico's today was the first time I had actually been on the bike. I'm not quiet ready to exhale yet! But, so far, so good.
