A friend of mine on Vashon Island, Steve Brown, sent me this photo from the recently concluded ALCAN 5000.

Steve used to participate in it, both the summer and winter versions, in his turbo-charged, pre-WRX Subaru, but now he just helps run the rally because of health issues. He almost sold me that 1983 BMW R65 earlier this summer . . . .
