I agree with your plan to take the most direct route on the way down to Taos; I ask you to consider where those of us out East can hook up with the group. I am planning on taking an extra day and coming home on MON, 9/8, so I would consider joining Martin and yourself. Let's hook up at the SEP EMRAT meeting to finalize this.

I will be leading a ride down to Taos on Friday. It will likely be the same route as last year, but I will figure out the details over this long weekend.
My thinking is that getting too creative with the route can easily add a lot of miles, and people would prefer to get in earlier to socialize, have dinner, and plan out what to do while in Taos.
On another note, I would like to take 2 days to get back. Leaving Taos on Sunday, possibly joining Martin for most of his first day, and ending in Gunnison or Montrose while Martin moves on. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll sort things out. Wayne?

Sara is riding up on Saturday as she works on Friday. We have one if those Sena headsets for the car, if she would like to drive along with Sara and chat on the way.
