As a long term member, from the purchase of my '97 Sprint Sport from Fay Meyers (on Alameda then) to the early days with Erico and Trip Miller's leadership, the club has had some ups and downs, and multiple venue changes. I don't really know what led up to the recent split with Erico. I just assume the Beldock's made a business decision to discontinue providing any level of sponsorship, or recognition, for that matter.
It makes sense that having a good relationship with a local dealer would be mutually beneficial. Perhaps some discounts on merchandise, or help with an event, but more importantly getting name recognition out there to Triumph owners about our group and building or at least maintaining membership and brand interest, which should pay off for the dealership.
But why do we have a club? We ride and we have FUN! (And beer. ;-)
We do need to find a centralized venue again for regular meetings, and that has been difficult. I don't think we need to "start a new chapter", we just need to build what we've got. So why not have a discussion with Foothills? Let's see what we can come up with to re-energize and grow a little.

My two concerns that still bothers me is a lack of a consistant meeting spot and declining attendance at the monthly meetings.
The posting l submitted is just a suggestion,and only that,l do welcome any ideas,objections,or whatever!I personally feel that the idea needs to remain on the table.
Whilst l be first to admit that EMRAT was very differant from the early days with Triumph Motorcycles America backing,it remains imperative,to me anyway,to make sure we are still here for Denver Metro Triumph owners
