Will be keeping an eye on the weather and will refine plan as next weekend approaches. May go for 10 depending on planned length.
On meeting venues, did a scouting run by Barquentine Brewing in Edgewater yesterday. It is self contained, but located on the west end of the Edgewater Marketplace, one of those food centric markets with a dozen or so food vendor counters and a big central table area. Beer only, but at least one of the pizza vendors will deliver to customers at the brewery, while other vendors will at least text you when your order is ready. So not as ideal as a full restaurant.
Meanwhile, still working to get a handle on the meeting room accommodations. The so called Barrel Room was occupied, but looked to be good for ~6 tables, if the barrels were moved out. All glass walls, so would need a screen for any presentations. Another meeting room across the hall, though expect by rental as it is Market space. Will advise more details as I get them from the manager, but overall, a mid pack candidate at best.
Can't do Thus, but should/can some of us vaxxers hit the Irish Rover on Tues night and join Zoom via an ipad(s) so we can make progress on this?
