To all:

Okay, I made an executive decision.  I have reserved the Wolford Reservoir Group site for Saturday just N of Kremmling, on the water as their name implies.  The weather in Kremmling tomorrow will be 10 degrees warmer than Granby or Dillon, low 70’s with 20% chance of late PM thundershowers.  If it ain’t raining at some point it ain’t camping.   Don’t expect trees at this site but with an expected high of 72 and overnite in the high 40’s, you will want the sunshine.  Plus, there’s nothing to fall onto your tent when it gets windy.

I can personally vouch for breakfast at the Moose Restaurant in Kremmling and there are a couple of bar & grill options for supper.

(I’m from Neb and “dinner” is the mid-day meal in farm parlance, right Capt?

The fee is $150 for the group so if we have about 10-12, less than $15 each.  There is a separate $5.00 park entry fee for each vehicle and I’m afraid each MC is a vehicle.  You will pay the $5.00 fee on arrival, I’ve covered the camp reservation with my CC so I’ll gratefully accept reimbursement in cash or check (with 2 ids).  There is a covered, open pavilion to sit and have that cognac and cigar, not furnished, byob.

The plan is still to leave from The Blue Cow around 9:45 AM tomorrow.  I will be there earlier if anyone wants breakfast.  Looks like Sat’s weather will be better so we’ll likely go up US 285 to Fairplay, then HY 9 over Hoosier Pass.  We’ll probably do lunch somewhere near Frisco or Dillon.  We’ll have plenty of time to set up camp and if one desires there are some good roads for an afternoon jaunt through the Gore Range or up to Grand Lake, or even dirt roads if you want to practice for BB’s ride next Saturday.  I’ll miss that event since I don’t do dirt and I’ll be at the TBGF listening to mt. music.    Annette, we expect to see you since that gallivanting husband is off exploring the west somewhere.

See you in the am, be there or be jealous!  Norm
