It's no surprise that the majority-Democrats in the House would kill HB-1205, given that it was sponsored by two Republicans. Such is the nature of the partisan civil war in an election-year this session in the Colorado Legislature . . . in the Senate, the majority Republicans kill the Democrats' bills.

Subject: [emrat:8425] Lanesplitting Bill in CO delayed indefinitely
Just received this in my inbox. I have to admit, I'm disappointed it's been delayed but pleasantly surprised to get a response:
Dear Sean,
Thank you for reaching out to share your opinion on allowing motorcycles to split the lane with other vehicles in certain circumstances. HB16-1205 was postponed indefinitely in the Transportation Committee on February 17th. However, I will carefully consider this bill if it comes to the floor for a vote in the future.
Please continue to share your views and help me to be a more effective voice for our district at the State Capitol. I also encourage you to visit my website,www.garnettforcolorado.com to sign up for my newsletter and receive periodic updates on activities at the State Capitol and in our community.
Sincerely,
Representative Alec Garnett
