This reminds me of September 1971.  My first wife and I had crossed from England to the Continent in our Triumph TR6R Tiger and we were headed through Belgium on an autoroute.

Putting along at 55 mph in the right-hand lane, I noticed a flashing pinprick of light far behind us.  That puzzled me and caught my attention.  Then I realized that a car was approaching at an extremely high rate of speed.  And it blew past us in a blur and was gone in a blink.

Lesson learned.  Stay out of the left lane unless you want to become bug splatter on some how powered BMW/Porsche/Audi/Mercedes Benz.

You think you have done some dumb things in the past, this will scare the shit out of you.

...and nary a Harley in sight!  The Autobahn between Stuttgart and Munich   1.  The rear view mirror in the video is maddening. 2.  The speedometer is visible just over the center of the steering wheel and a bit to the right. The highest I saw it register was 285 kilometer per hour (@176.5 mph)
