The 100,000 Foot Ride this coming Saturday is sold out. I have an extra registration that I can offer to anyone wanting to join the ride. I did it for the first time last year, and found a number of Colorado passes that I didn't know about. You can ride with a small group, or do a single ride. Contact me if you are interested. I will be riding the paved route, but the dual sport ride would be fun to do too. The route will be revealed when riders register at Foothills BMW between 7:15 and 8:30 on Saturday. The ride ends someplace in Denver (also revealed at registration) at the catered dinner location.

The BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado and Foothills BMW Motorcycles present our premier and longest running all-day event ride. This ride is designed to take you over enough mountain passes in a day to equal 100,000 feet. This accomplishment is not achievable any place else in North America and perhaps the world. The 100,000 Foot Ride combines some of the best motorcycle roads and stunning scenery the State has to offer. The event includes both paved and dirt routes to accommodate the increasing number of dual sport riders. The total mileage for either route will be less than 500 miles. Registration is $36 and is limited to 200 riders. Included is a continental breakfast, catered dinner, commemorative t-shirt and pin and door prizes. Early registration is encouraged. Online registration cut off is July 15th. Walk-up registration is accepted only as space permits but a T-shirt, pin, and dinner are not guaranteed.
