I, too, have done the Gateway and car museum stop during the Montrose event and I think it's well worth it. Car collection is diverse and impeccably maintained. Not being much of a museum guy I was able to make prettty quick work of it. The best part is the beautiful ride to get there and the loop return via CO 141 which is a real treat.

I rode to Gateway last year. The auto museum is pretty big. The ages of the cars run from early 1900's to 60's era muscle cars. Two hours is about right but you could easily spend longer. There are dining options at the Gateway Resort.

I managed to book a double queen room for Triumph in the Rockies, 7/20 - 7/22. If anyone wants to split a room, let me know, cost will be $100 for both nights. Also looking to do a ride on Saturday 7/21 to Gateway. Is the car museum there worth seeing? About how long should I consider, maybe 3 hours there? Any good places to eat in Gateway?Martin
