World Spay Day Tuesday, February 26, 2013   In celebration of the Divine Feline and The Feline Fix merger, this year's World Spay Day is especially important. This annual event promotes the importance of spay/neuter as a means to address cat (and dog) overpopulation. It has become so successful that Spay Day events are popping up around the world. Every day is Spay Day at The Feline Fix but we'll be doing a special celebration by adding an extra clinic on World Spay Day - February 26th.   I am inviting you to be a part of this year's Spay Day celebration at The Feline Fix. Please consider making a sustaining gift of $20 per month. This will allow us to "fix" one cat every month. Our goal is to sign up 50 sustaining donors and raise $10,000 to directly support surgeries for 500 cats in our community.   A gift of just $60, will subsidize the cost of spaying or neutering not one, but two community (free-roaming) cats.   You can make your gift via our website - www.thefelinefix.org - or call us at 303-202-3516.   I don't have to tell you that spay/neuter is the proven way to save lives. It prevents the euthanasia of healthy cats in shelters and deaths of free-roaming cats on our streets.   In honor or World Spay Day, I invite you to be a part of the solution!   Your friend in animal welfare, Dr. Erica Rambus Medical Director     The next Trap-Neuter-Return Workshop will be on Saturday, March 16th from Noon to 3PM here at the clinic on 2nd & Bryant.   Attendees of the workshop receive discounted surgery fees and trap deposit fees.   To sign up for the workshop, call Sharon at 303-202-3516 or email her at sharon@thefelinefix.org.       Help us upgrade our computer system.  Right now we have a mismatched set of computer stations which are running different versions of Windows. When we run backups, each computer has to be backed up separately and our database and other programs have to be shared.  We need a server and 4 workstations with the most recent Windows software so we can work more efficiently and effectively where ever we are.   Is there anyone that has marketing experience willing to volunteer time to keep us in the view of the public?
