[The Network] March 8 Int'l Women's Day learn about adolescent violence

The Blossom Project presents: "Bring-a-Boy" - An International Women's Day Call to Alliance, March 8th, from 5:30pm -8:00pm at the  GALS School Denver, 200 S University Blvd.  The free event will be an interactive, engaging presentation by Project PAVE, focused on the issues of adolescent girls as victims of physical, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner.

On International Women's Day, join us for conversation, connection, consciousness-raising and a call-to-alliance around gender-based violence.  Nearly 1 in 5 teenage girls in a relationship said a boyfriend threatened violence or self-harm when presented with a break-up.  So we're reaching out to the boys and men in our lives:  Bring your dads, uncles, husbands, boyfriends, brothers and cousins!

We're working to build allies, and strengthen efforts to end violence against women.  For questions or to RSVP, please contact For more information and to RSVP, please visit www.blossomproject.org or contact Roweena at 720.239.2477
