Presented by Colorado State University, Colorado Family. Education, Resources and Training (CFERT) 

 

Walk the Talk"  is a half day best practice workshop for individuals that want to communicate clearly to clients and/or staff members .  The workshop focuses on research proven best practice methods.   The content addresses issues that all family service workers and leaders face on a daily basis.

 

The "Walk the Talk" participants will learn about:

 

·         Communication helpers and active listening skills

·         How to reframe topics to minimize anxiety

·         How to respectfully address the need for specialized services and other hot  topics.

·         How to set boundaries respectfully
