Doc, below is Norm’s earlier email to the group, which you apparently have not seen.  Norm and Jay are probably riding around Oregon today at the national BMW rally, so Norm can weigh in later when he has a chance.  Jay says he’s just going to ride to Sturgis at the end of his northwest wanderings rather than return to Denver first.  He said he would arrive at Sturgis late on Thursday, August 1^st, which is the day on which Brian Weberg and I will ride up.  I’ll send a separate email to the EMRAT Group about our plans . . .

Here are the current plans for Sturgis 2013.

 

Dan Pilcher is leading a group leaving Thursday August 1^st.  He will set the meeting location by subsequent contact.  I (Norm Wright) will lead a group leaving Friday August 2^nd.  Both groups will go out I-76 to about Brush then US 6 head northeast to hit US 385.  A different route from the past.  Norm’s group will meet at the Morrison Conoco, NW corner of Morrison Road and C-470, meet at 8:30 with a departure at 8:45 AM.  If there are north or east folks going, we could set a 2^nd rally point off I-76.

 

Some will return Sunday and some Monday.  The bulk of my group will stay thru Tuesday and come back on Weds so there are options.

 

Stay at the same place,  Creekside Campground, make your own camp site reservation.  Dan will go to the spot we used last year back along the fence line in front of the barnyard.

 

Some of us will go to the Kid Rock/Doobie Brothers concert on Monday night at the Buffalo Chip.  Go to the Buffalo Chip web site and there is a link to Rally Tickets to purchase a concert ticket for that event, $70.00 with tax

.  You will print your ticket from that site.

 

Jay and Norm will be in Oregon from the 13^th to the 30^th but I will see e-mails.  My cell is listed below.  Dan’s is 303 748 1115.  My personal e-mail is lowrtax@gmail.com  

 

As always, this is not limited to EMRAT’s so feel free to pass this along to your MC buddies.
