-- Just wanted to throw an open invitation to all EM/RAT Members who may want to join in on this tour. No membership in RMMRC required, just an interest in going.
We will be departing on August 9th, and returning on August 22 or 23rd, depending on your preference of return route. There also a 9-10 day route for those who don't have as much time.
The brief itinerary is as follows:
Day 1 - Aug 9th: Denver to Sheridan, WY
Day 2 - Aug 10th: Sheridan, WY to Missoula, MT
Day 3 - Aug 11th: Missoula, MT to Winthrop, WA
Day 4 - Aug 12th: Winthrop, WA to Anacortes, WA
Day 5 - Aug 13th: Ferry Cruise through San Juan to Syndey, BC (Customs) and south to Victoria, BC
Day 6 - Aug: 14th Free Day in Victoria
Day 7 - Aug: 15th Victoria, BC to Nanaimo. Ferry Cruise across Georgia Straight to N. Vancouver and on to Whistler, BC
Day 8 - Aug. 16 - Whistler to Kamloops
Day 9 - Aug. 17 - Kamloops to Jasper Park
Day 10 - Aug. 18 - Jasper Park to Banff
Day 11 - Aug. 19 - Free Day in Banff
Day 12 - Aug. 20 - Banff to Great Falls, MT
Day 13 - Aug. 21 - Great Falls to Buffalo, WY
Day 14 - Aug. 22 - Buffallo, WY to Denver or
Day 15 - Aug 23 - Buffallo, WY to hwy 89S to Yellowstone, NP, Jackson WY to Steamboat Springs and on to Denver
The optional shorter ride days would be....
First 5 days to Victoria, BC
Day 6 - Victoria to Sidney on Hwy. 17 to ferry to Tsawwassen, BC to Yakima, WA
Day 7 - Yakima, WA to Boise, ID
Day 8 - Boise, ID to Little America, WY
Day 9 - Little America to Denver (or Vernal, UT)
Day 10 - Vernal, UT to Denver
