That's what a Utah State Trooper, riding a BMW and smiling behind his sunglasses, told me back in 2009 at World Superbike at Miller Motorsports Park.
Peter Sharp and I had ridden over to team up with his childhood friend, David Boulanger, and we were out at the track.
I spotted two Troopers with their shiny BMW LE bikes and went over to talk to them.
Naturally, I asked them what they did if a rider on a fast bike tried to outrun them . . .

You didn't do too bad. Sara and I were both tagged teamed last Memorial Day for traveling 78 in a 55. While they were reduced to 75 so that they weren't more than 20 over and the points reduced even further for paying early, it was an expensive day 😁
