Subject: Denver Rescue Mission - Client Services Program Open House! - You're Invited

 

Beginning July 7^th, we will be implementing a new Client Services program at Denver Rescue Mission Ministry Outreach Center, 5725 E 39^th Avenue, Denver, CO 80207. Our desire in starting the new Client Services program is to not only meet a specific emergency need but for our clients to transition out of the cycle of poverty and homelessness that many clients find themselves in. We want to help them become productive, self-sufficient, and contributing citizens of the Denver community.  With the new implementation we hope to provide our clients with accurate information about what programs they would benefit from, meeting their specific spiritual/physical points of needs, and move them towards self-sufficiency. We cannot do this alone and are asking you all to help us in this effort.

With the new implementation vouchers are no longer required. Please disregard the form we have provided you in the past. Instead each individual and family that comes to us for services will need to go through our intake process before receiving services. Also, we will be relocating our 1130 Park Avenue West location to our current clothing room location at 5725 E 39 ^th Avenue, Denver, CO 80207. While we will still be providing shelter and prepared meals at 1130 Park Avenue West, Denver, CO 80205, effective immediately no food boxes or clothing will be distributed there.

On June 6^th, 2014 we will be having an open house at 5725 E. 39^th Avenue, Denver, CO 80207. We are inviting all case managers and agency partners to come and learn about our new program and meet the team who will operate our Client Services program. This is a time to ask questions, to get familiar with Denver Rescue Mission and better understand what we are trying to do for the community of Denver.
