All,
At this month's meeting I had a chance to show a few people the new GPS mount on my Sprint. When I started working mounting the GPS on my Sprint I wanted something that was small and compact. After searching and searching I could find anything.
Lucky I have a friend, Tim Hileman, who is a machinist. With his help, we were able to design and fabricate what I was looking for. Once the mount was complete, I used a 30A Single Circuit Fuse panel Relay Kits from Eastern Beaver for the wire. The mount is like a rock and works great. I have attached a few photos of the mount.
This project show that you can't always find what you're you're looking for and you may need to resort to having something fabricate.
