Immigrant integration is a dynamic, two-way process in which newcomers and the receiving society work together to build secure, vibrant, and cohesive communities. As an intentional effort, integration engages and transforms all community members, reaping shared benefits and creating a new whole that is greater than the sum of its parts (Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees).

Hi Meg,

Would you be able to pass the email and flyers along to the CARES and CPIN networks?

CAO is excited to announce the relaunching of its ESL classes. Classes are held 6 days a week, with more than 20 hours of ongoing, multilevel instruction offered in a variety of formats at no cost. Enrollment is free and held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30-12:30 at CAO's office located at 6795 E. Tennessee Ave, Suite 250 (just off of Monaco Pkwy & Leetsdale). See our attached flyers for class schedules and descriptions.

CAO will also hold enrollment for its next quarter's citizenship classes from July 7- July 11.  Classes are for high beginning and intermediate level English speakers. (Advanced level speakers are encouraged to enroll in Community College of Aurora's citizenship classes.) Legal services are available to students for a nominal fee in partnership with Lutheran Family Services. Class specifics and times can be found in the attached flyer.

If you or a client have questions about our ESL or Citizenship programs, I can be reached at via email at caras@caoden.org or at 303-953-7060 x107.
