I am planning on making it to the fall overnight ride but I may not be able to make the 9am start .  I have the route info and should be able to meet up with the group at some point.

I can make about 250 miles on a tank.

This year for the fall overnight ride we will be to traveling to Paxton, Nebraska the weekend of September 27-28, 2014.

 

The Plan is to depart from the Conoco station in Strasburg at 9:00am on September 27 traveling east through the high plains of Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. Once in Paxton we will be staying at the Paxton Days Inn. Room rates are $69.99 plus tax for 2 Queen/1 King Bed room. Denise and I booked our room for $62.00 with our Wyndham Rewards.

 

We will be dining at Ole's Big Game Steakhouse and Lounge in Paxton. Ole's is a unique place and has been in business since August 9, 1933 which is the day after prohibition in Nebraska came to an end.  Ole's is filled with more than 200 Trophies mounts from the founder's hunting safaris from every continent.
