Re: [emrat:1849] Denver post and Bill Windsor

Was this voluntary or was Bill (House Of) Windsor on public service for taking umbrage with the speed limit in Golden Gate canyon?

[emrat:1842] Steam Boat overnighter

Hope everyone of you have a safe ride.l am stuck here at work (yuk)!

Some crazy and bizzare stuff appears to be happening.Firstly, noted Cycle World scribe Peter Egan bought a used T-100 from ERICO.Unless he is being confused with Dan Pilcher (well,l feel they look alike)!

In MotoGP,Johnny Rea qualified in P7,ahead of all the Ducatis.Hope for a dry race tomorrow.

This one is mostly for Wayne, that British moto scribe John Brown sadly passed away earlier today.Wrote some good stuff on British short circuit and on the GP scene back in the seventies. Will be missed.

Lastly, for all you moto cross fans,CBS sports is showing same day  coverage of the Moto Cross des Nations at 8pm local time Sunday, that is according to Cycle News.

Well, that is all from me.See you all on Tuesday.

Re: [emrat:1841] Fall Overnight Ride

Tomas,

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked CDOT website and it didn't show Highway 14 or Stove Prairie Road being closed. I did find an article from the Loveland Reporter-Herald stating that the highway was never fully closed, but one lane was shut down for the safety of the crews clearing debris.

It's a good thing I move to a Tiger this summer and if there is some debris on the road it will bring back memories of ride the Alcan Highway.

To all fellow Steamboaters!

I read in the Boulder newspaper this morning that they had some big mudslides on highway 14 and Buckhorn canyon Rd (Stove Praire Rd) in the burn areas after the rain this week, hopefully they have cleaned it up! I guess we find out tomorrow.

Email notifications from Google Webmaster Tools

Dear Webmaster Tools user,

We know that having a healthy and well-performing website is important to you. To keep you informed about your site's status Webmaster Tools will now automatically send you a notification email if there are critical or important issues that we detect with your site.

We'll only send you email for issues that we think have significant impact on your site's health or search performance which have clear actions that you can take to address. For example, we'll email you if we detect malware on your site or see a significant increase in errors while crawling your site.

For most sites these kinds of issues will occur rarely. If your site does happen to have an issue we cap the number of emails we send over a certain period of time to avoid flooding your inbox.

If you don't want to receive any email from Webmaster Tools you can change your email delivery preferences at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/preferences.

We hope that you find this change a useful way to stay up-to-date on critical and important issues regarding your site's health.

RE: [Altitude Multisport Club] Spring Fling Camp 10 Year Celebration

Jordan,

I had the pleasure of doing a Trek Travel Trip in Solvang 5 years ago.  There is some great riding in that area, including Figueroa - a climb that would be a challenge for anyone.  There are nice restaurants and wineries in the area (including one founded by Fess Parker of Daniel Boone fame).  Lots of rural roads through farmland and vineyards.  Solvang is where US Postal and Team Discovery held their pre-season camps, back in the day....

Hi everyone -

As your hard working Club President I receive occasional emails, mostly from people who want to sell you things.

The folks also want to sell you something, but it looks idyllic and I wanted to pass it along to you.

It may be a sign of our collective neurosis that a week of long rides in "challenging training terrain" sounds good to me, but it does.  As does the wine tasting.

By the way, good luck to our West Coast Affiliate Casey McKinney as he races the Super Frog 70.3 on Sunday.

Have a GREAT weekend!
