On 9-22-12, (Saturday) l am planning on riding down to Woodland Park and also checking out Pikes Peak.If anyone would like to join me,the logistics are as follows:
Meet for fuel tanks full/wheels up departure at the Blue Cow and/or the Bradley gas station next door at 0830.Arrive earlier if you are planning on eating breakfast.
l looked on line for information on Pikes Peak and l could not locate anything regarding admittance fees.l do believe that the highway is paved all the way to the summit,but if it gets too "Knarly",we could find a safe spot to turn around and head back down.The pace WILL be slow (not "Bullitt Bob" like) due to "Ranger Danger" and drop-off issues.
So for those of you who would to join,please post to the forum,so l can obtain a good head count.l do appologise in advance for posting this at such short notice,which is entirely due to crazy work conflicts and family issues.Hope to see you tomorrow.Thanks!
