Subject: Community Health Events -Join Us!

Good morning everyone!

I wanted to invite you all to the Be Healthy Denver’s Community Health events.  Be Healthy Denver if a joint initiative between Denver Public Health and Denver Environmental Health.  Our goal for these events is to create a fun forum for community members to share their opinions on several health topics.  We will incorporate these community voices into Denver’s first ever Community Health Improvement Plan.

Please join us at an event and encourage your Denver resident clients to participate as well (I will happily provide flyers and posters!).  We are trying hard to make these very inclusive events and will be offering childcare and some Spanish language events as well.  Feel free to forward this to your networks!

Thanks!

Michele

Dear Neighbor,

We are inviting you and your neighborhood to participate in the upcoming Be Healthy Denver community health events!

Be Healthy Denver is asking you and the community:

  1. What is the most important public health issue facing Denver?
  2. What should we do about it?
  3. Are you willing to help?

Community voices matter!

Sincerely,

Be Healthy Denver Team

Be Healthy Denver Community Events

Please join us for a community meeting and activities including food, kids activities, games, informational booths, and a raffle!

The purpose of the community events is to listen, educate, and energize the public as we begin to gather input and prioritize health topics for the first ever Denver Community Health Improvement Plan.

As a part of the events, we want to champion a healthy and active lifestyle. We are striving to be very inclusive and want to reach a large audience because we need to hear from a diverse group of people and we value your input.
