Subject: Participants for Share Our Strength - Shopping Matters Day 2 Serve Site
Hey Team!
As some of you may know, Shopping Matters as offered by Share Our Strength is one of our Day 2 Serve Sites this year. This is an incredible program that walks individuals and families who are at risk of hunger through providing information on how to make economically savvy yet still healthy food choices. Our volunteers will be meeting participants at a participating Wal Mart and guiding them through shopping in an economic and healthy way. Our volunteers are raring to go, however one thing this program needs is participants for Sunday, September 30th!
If you know of a good group to tap into that could take advantage of what Shopping Matters offers, feel free to pass on the information. Attached is a flyer with more information. If you have questions, please contact Renee at rpetrillo@strength.org.
