Good Evening
One of the young women in You Can Begin Again has a rent situation, she did not return some paperwork into housing and they did not pay her January's rent. They are going to pay it with Februarys payment but there is a sizable late fee that she has to pay herself or it keeps increasing each day. She was working a temporary position but it lasted only a week and she thought she should pay Xcel Energy so her lights wouldn't get cut off instead of making an arrangement and paying the late fees. She was ashamed to tell me what happened and sent me a text message this evening asking if I would just let her leave our program so we won't have to deal with her. I only wish that You Can Begin Again had the funds to help her but we do not, so we are appealing to you to help us rectify this situation. The late fees are up to 320.00 and if each of us can do a little something we can pay this off. Rent is late as of the 3rd so we really need to move quickly. If you can respond to this email if you are able to send something we would appreciate it then we can know what to expect. It would be helpful if you could make a deposit at US Bank to You Can Begin Again and put your information on the slip so we can give you credit for your donation.
