[The Network] Parent Educator Training (Make Parenting a Pleasure)

Colorado State University, Colorado Family. Education, Resources and Training (CFERT) is hosting a Make Parenting A Pleasure (MPAP) Parent Educator Training on March 19 & 20, 2013 in the Denver Metro Area. The Make Parenting a Pleasure curriculum is a research based strength approach to parenting that uses best practice principles. The curriculum focuses first on the need for self-care and personal empowerment, and moves from an adult/adult focus to a parent/child/family emphasis.

The program builds on family strengths and helps parents develop a strong support network. The curriculum is interactive and uses discussion and experiential activities in both large and small groups. The content addresses issues that all families face at one time or another. All Participants will receive an activity workbook to use with families in either Spanish or English.
Attached is the registration form or feel free to contact Laura Benavente directly at 970-491-6031 or laura.benavente@colostate.edu .
