Not like I haven't done that. For those that have not gone to the Emrat Facebook page, Martin posted his Iron Butt certificate. Congrats Martin. I gotta agree with Al. I've been on it 3 times and it is amazing. My recommendation is go from south to north. The elevation changes over 7k ft, and 30 miles of tight twisties going downhill will put a kink in your wrists!SteveOn Mon, Dec 29, 2014 at 12:25 PM, Al Miller <amiller1104@gmail.com> wrote:I would have to add this one, I have ridden it twice and saw very little traffic both times.http://excessivelocity.blogspot.com/2009/05/arizona-191-old-666-devils-highway.htmlAlOn...

I plan on going too. As I understand it, last years event was the farthest east that the ride has ever been so don't hold your breath waiting for another one through Nebraska. I am figuring on a full 2 weeks to do this ride, mostly because its so far west. I've been wanting to ride through that area for years and this looks like a great way to do it. As for the route Norm, they do a lot of scouting trips in preparation for...

RE: [emrat:6095] Three Flags Info
Maybe this is an alternative: The Riders Association 2015 Rally is in Harrison, AR, 850 miles away, Oct 1-4. An opportunity to run the Serpent, AR 123. There's Springfield, MO, home of the Bass Pro Shops too. With apologies to Dan, the only issue is riding across Kansas to get there. Well, Norm, I cannot host you and Capt. Bob in Seattle because I won't be there. Re: [emrat:6092] Three Flags Info
Dang, seems like they're taking an even farther West route than they did last year. Would love to do this run but I can't take the time. 2 days just to get to the starting point and 2 days from the end to get home is just a little too much for me. I'm hoping maybe next year they'll go with a more "Central" alignment like the one that Steve and Tim did a couple of years ago. Martin From: Norm...

Thanks Capt. I'm planning on it too. I put together a possible daily route planner (obviously modifiable once one knows the check points). This has no real thought as to roads, that would come later.
