The Scrambler will be at Erico on Feb 7th. http://www.ducatiusa.com/2015_preview_tour.do
I like the looks of the Enduro version but you are right Norm about the digital gauge, not very retro!

I agree, it's the first Ducati I like well enough to look at. Don't like the digital gauges though. That's not where you should add high tech to retro bikes.

Subject: Re: [emrat:6159] Scrambler BattleWell, as a fan of "naked" bikes I have to say that is drop dead gorgeous. Kudos to Ducati for that one. I have to be honest, their faired sport bikes never did anything for me, looks-wise but that Scrambler is beautiful. At 75hp + 410lb dry weight it will smoke the Triumph Scrambler with no trouble, so I hope Triumph steps up its game. Not sure if I'd ever have the guts to spend my own hard-earned money on an Italian bike (as much as I lusted after the Guzzi V7 classic the lackluster power and reports of spotty reliability were enough to keep me away) but that Duck is certainly closer than anything else I've seen in years. Now if only BMW would come out with their own retro scrambler (no, not the R Nine T, that's not a "retro bike" as much as it is a Street-Triple-style hooligan bike) I would get really excited.Martin

--Here's a write up on the new Duc Scrambler.A Comparo to Triumph's looms in the future?Comments to the article hint at major changes to the "Bonnie" line in 2016. We'll have to ask John about that.I want a Bonneville with the Street Triple engine and a 4.5 gallon gas tank, then we can go somewhere!
