Anchor Motel and Sands Motel are you two closest alternatives and are each about 4 blocks away.  There is also a Best Western in the area, but not walkable from the group hotel.

I finally got around to trying to book a room for the spring overnight and what do you know? It's all booked up. I still want to go, so if anyone has a room with an extra bed let me know and I would be more than willing to split it. The lady on the phone said you guys all booked up everything just the other day so I know I couldn't be that far behind.
