Thanks, Sean.  Well, I've decided that a one-day rental of one of these bikes will be what my kids can give me for Father's Day.  Back in 2006, I rented an H-D 883 Sportster as their birthday gift to me and went riding with Curtis Graves and Tom Sangl and had a blast.  I concluded that my driver's license would be much safer if I rode that bike instead of a modern Triumph . . . .

I have run across this website because someone at work was asking me about the possibility of renting a bike that isn't the typical Ultra-super-shiny-deluxo-glide and sportster rentals. Interesting concept.  

 

Looks like they do tours as well.

Now and then, I think about trying out different bikes and different brands, but no dealer is going to let me take a demo bike out for an entire day and try it out on different roads, both paved an non-paved.
