Re: [emrat:6455] Accident Scene Management

Hey Manuel,

I wouldn't worry too much about the conflict with the Chuck Memorial Ride.  If that is the best weekend for majority of attendees, go for it.  Chuck was a huge advocate (and certified member) of the accident scene management.  It would make him proud to know how much interest there is in this from the Triumph group.

Hello all,

Just a little more detail about the Accident Scene Management certification.
  1. There are 2 classes;  the basic and the advanced class.  Typically, the basic class is on a Saturday and the Advanced is on a Sunday.  There is the possibility to split the basic class up over 2 evenings.
  2. The classes would be $65-$75 each if we can get 20 attendees.  So, $130-$150 for basic and advanced (2 days total or 2 evenings + Sat or Sun).  I'm confident that I can get round up 20 attendees to supplement this number, but I want all interested EMRAT members to have first chance.
  3. Available weekends:  Colleen indicated that she has these weekends free:
    • March 7th and 8th
    • March 14th and 15 (Conflict with Chuck Ferrari Memorial Ride)
    • April 4th and 5th
I have a question out to Colleen to see how far in advance we can schedule (maybe after the riding season would work better for most?).  But I have attached the information from her about the program.

Interest has been expressed by Sean, Sara, Bob Tapper, Dan Pilcher, Aaron Pilcher, Ben Pilcher, Norm, Martin, Brian Weber, Tavis, and Amy (Tavis' wife).

If you are still interested and ANYONE who would likely attend, please respond to me with The Dates from the above that work AND if you would want to take just the basic course, or both the basic and advanced.  Thanks,

Manuel
