Re: [emrat:6610] Re: April Meeting, Lads & Lassies

+1 on the Chowder Room on S. Broadway. I stopped in the week of their opening and I was very pleased. And that's coming from a very picky New Englander...hahaha

Yes, the owners are great and we discovered we have a number of acquaintances in common from Aspen which is where they spent a good amount of time in the restaurant business.

The Chowder Room is certainly worth checking out in my opinion.

What part of town were you looking for Jeff?

I agree Brian, I just ate at the Chowder Room a couple of weeks ago. Low key, casual, and quite good. The owners are nice and they are really getting it going being new.

Just a heads up for those that did not know this, and those that own Kilts or any Tartan plaid. National Tartan Day is the 6th of April every year and our meeting is the day after. Just an FYI if anyone wants to don the Kilt in honor for the TRAT meeting on the 7th.
