I went there specifically for the New England clam chowder Doc and I found it to be very good...of course not as good as mine however...hahaha
I did enjoy it enough to get a bowl to go and I had it for lunch the following day. I haven't had a chance to get back to sample some of their other offerings yet unfortunately. I did like the fact the menu was small and there were a few items I want to taste.

Bob, how did you like the NE Chowder, if you had it? I found it very authentic. The decor reminded me of some fishing villages from the east. too.
-- Jeff,
I'm rather limited for Aurora. Don't spend much time in that neck of the woods. I can suggest much for Denver proper area, but not much in the metro locations. Lots of stuff in my area off South Broadway; and highlands, uptown, downtown.

+1 on the Chowder Room on S. Broadway. I stopped in the week of their opening and I was very pleased. And that's coming from a very picky New Englander...hahahaYes, the owners are great and we discovered we have a number of acquaintances in common from Aspen which is where they spent a good amount of time in the restaurant business. The Chowder Room is certainly worth checking out in my opinion.Bob

Low key, casual, and quite good. The owners are nice and they are really getting it going being new.
