Re: [emrat:6913] Overnight Trip on the Bonnie

Ross, if you're not set on Grand Junction, the Hotel Denver in Glenwood is a cool place and they have a brewpub in the same building!

Thanks Norm and Steve.  Can anyone recommend a good place to stay and brewpub in Grand Junction?

I'd take I-70 to Glenwood Springs, CO 82 and 133 to Delta.  Camp in Paonia or Delta or motel in Delta/Grand Junction.  The next day take CO 141 to Naturita (The Delores River Road), stop to see the auto museum in Gateway, then loop back to Delta or Denver depending on how many nights on the road.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the recommendation.  How do you recommend driving to Grand Junction, where do you recommend staying, and are there any good motorcycle roads out in Grand Junction?

Best,
Ross

I wouldn't head too far east or south. It's been very wet there. I think that you can't go wrong heading to Grand Junction. There are lot's of great riding roads around there, plenty of good restaurants and brew pubs, and the Colorado National Monument by Fruita is a great place to go hiking too,

Hi Gang,

I am off work the next couple of days and am interested in doing an overnight or 2 night trip on the Bonnie.  Any recommendations on where to go and stay?

Thanks,
Ross
