Re: [emrat:7477] Crazy Question - a bigger bike:)??

Maybe have a second EMRAT Fall overnighter (besides CPT Bob's Dead Cow run) in the Crested Butte area?  Bring it up at the SEP EMRAT meeting!  Last time I had the Tiger 1050 over Kebler, it was sideways city!!  EWB

On a different note, I will not be attending T'nT this year (goddammit!) as my daughter and granddaughter will be in town that weekend (yay!).

Kebler Pass is fun Wayne...rode in in June. Definitely returning in the Fall to catch the Aspens.

You just need to get that KTM 1190 off road Sean. There is no better way to learn then just doing it. I have offered to take you out on some mild dirt roads and if by chance you did have a drop I could help you upright that beast...but only once though. My back is a wreck and only good for one lift...hahaha

Practice...practice...practice. You should go ride Hwy 67 from Sprucewood to Deckers every chance you get. Your confidence will build as you ride it repeatedly getting more aggressive and daring.

Might as well practice on the bike you will eventually take off road. The more dirt you ride and taking on more gnarly stuff will only make you better.

I don't think I need anything that fierce.

I just want something that weighs less than a 500+ lbs Adventure bike to try to become more confident off-road.

Then a year from now this will be me!

Yeah right hahahaha

She still really enjoys the ST3R, but she is in the same boat as me.  Needs to sell a bike before she can buy another :)

But we share time on the ST3R and would do the same with the 450.  We both would really like to have one in the garage

You know what? I will take you up on that, but it still doesn't change the fact that Sara won't let me buy one until I sell at least one current bike and I do love my 1190 :)

You can keep a 450 KTM dirt bike at my house Sean...I have room in my garage and it would get properly ridden I might add.
