The Jeffco Community Health Improvement Network Meeting
As a community leader invested in the health of Jeffco's children, you are invited to join a network of organizations, businesses, and community members interested in aligning efforts to increase the health of our community by improving access to healthy food and opportunities for active living among low-income families with children ages 0-18, as described in the Jefferson County Community Health Improvement Plan.
The Jeffco Community Health Improvement Network aims to create system- and policy-level changes that make healthy choices easier for Jeffco children and families. The Network is made up of five coalitions, called Coalitions Integrated in the Network, or CoINs. These CoINs include:
· Active Living Policy Team
· Jefferson County Food Policy Council
· Healthy Beverage Working Group
· School and Worksite Wellness Coalition
· Health in Early Childhood Collaborative
You will be receiving a more detailed invitation and an RSVP form within the next two weeks. Meanwhile, please see the attached flyer for more information about this exciting project and feel free to contact us with questions, comments or suggestions.
