[The Network] free books for preschoolers

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library--http://usa.imaginationlibrary.com/--is a program that gifts children with one age-appropriate book every month. Books are mailed directly to the child to create a sense of excitement. Typically a nonprofit organization or a school district partner with the Dollywood Foundation to run a program. Parents register their children (birth through age five) and then the FREE books start arriving, once a month until the child turns five. To date, there are 22 participating communities in Colorado. Check the website for program contact information--it's not as easy as enrolling online in most cases due to the capacity to serve, but check your local program contact to see if your kids qualify.
Learn more at http://usa.imaginationlibrary.com/ and then click on Find My Program or the map to find local contact information. This is a statewide program that services rural areas, too (with some affiliates in Boulder, Loveland, etc. and very limited Denver 80205 access)
