[CPN] From Xcel Energy: Gas Line Replacement Work in Your Neighborhood

Dear District 8 Registered Neighborhood Organization,

 

We are contacting you because we have contracted with K.R. Swerdfeger Construction, Q3 Contracting and NPL Construction Company to replace some natural gas pipeline in Five Points, Park Hill and Whittier. Completing this work will result is continued reliable service for current and new customer, and is also part of a multi-year project to replace nearly 100 linear miles of pipe in the Denver metro area.

 

In the Five Points neighborhood, K.R. Swerdfeger anticipates starting the following projects in mid-August with work continuing through September:

 

California Street between 28th and 30th streets

29th Street between California Street and Welton streets

 

Inclement weather may delay construction, and work may occur along side and adjacent streets.

 

K.R. Swerdfeger has a representative available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 719-252-8838 to discuss any concerns or to answer any questions you may have about this work. Xcel Energy also is available at all times at 1-800-895-4999.

 

The general hours of construction for all projects are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking along these streets and on side streets may be limited and driveways may need to be blocked for short periods of time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

In the Park Hill neighborhood, Q3 anticipates starting the following project in late August with work continuing through October:

   East 26th Avenue between Krameria and Oneida streets

Inclement weather may delay construction, and work may occur along side and adjacent streets.

 

Q3 has a representative available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 303-996-3544 to discuss any concerns or to answer any questions you may have about this work. Xcel Energy also is available at all times at 1-800-895-4999.

 

The general hours of construction for all projects are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking along these streets and on side streets may be limited and driveways may need to be blocked for short periods of time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

In the Whittier neighborhood, NPL anticipates starting the following projects in mid-August with work continuing through November:

·         York Street from East 43rd to East 37th avenues

·         East 37th Avenue from York to Marion streets

 

Inclement weather may delay construction, and work may occur along side and adjacent streets.

 

NPL has a representative available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 303-435-5321 to discuss any concerns or to answer any questions you may have about this work. Xcel Energy also is available at all times at 1-800-895-4999.

 

The general hours of construction for all projects are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking along these streets and on side streets may be limited and driveways may need to be blocked for short periods of time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Attached are copies of the letters and a brochure about the project that is being delivering door-to-door to residents directly impacted by the project. Please share this information with your members and neighbors.
