This is just a quick reminder to let you know that the results from the August 22 Red Rock Canyon Master Plan meeting have been posted on the City's website (www.springsgov.com/RRC).  Thanks to all of the presenters of new ideas and to everyone who attended for their thoughtful comments regarding  those ideas.

 

I also wanted to let you know that if you're looking for things to do this long Labor Day weekend, we have some interesting reading for you. The pre-draft sections 4 – 3m of the Master and Management Plan have been posted on the City's web site and are ready for your review. Please reserve time now to read them before our next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at the Westside Community Center, 1628 W. Bijou St.

 

As you'll recall, our goal is to increase meeting efficiency by providing you information ahead of time instead of taking time for in-depth presentations at the meetings. The meeting will focus on the following topics covered in the sections posted online:

-          Program areas

-          Interpretation and education

-          Design guidelines

-          Forest health management

-          Rules of use

-          Revenue and sponsorship
