[The Network] Housing Colorado Conference - Scholarship deadline is Aug 31

Good Morning!

 

I would like to invite everyone to attend the 24^th annual Housing Colorado NOW! Conference this year Oct. 9-12 in Vail, Colorado.  I have found it to be an amazing conference to learn about all the difference facets of affordable housing – from homelessness through homeownership.  Because I work with single women with children who are homeless and re-integrating into the community, this conference also offers a much wider view of the work it takes to build the affordable housing my clients desperately need.  Also, Housing Colorado offers some scholarships to attend – and the deadline is Aug.31 to apply.

Conference Scholarships
The Housing Colorado "Conference Scholarships" Fund is intended to expand access to the conference, increase diversity among conference attendees and enrich the experience of all conference participants. A limited number of partial scholarships for registration or lodging are available for those with significant financial need. Up to two full scholarships for registration and three nights lodging will be awarded to unpaid nonprofit volunteers.

"Conference Scholarship" applications will be evaluated based upon the strength of each application. If interested, please complete the online "Conference Scholarship" application and return with required fee by Wednesday, August 31, 2012
