[Altitude Multisport Club] Please help: we still need volunteers for Rattlesnake

Hi everyone - 

Many thanks to everyone who has already volunteered for the Rattlesnake this weekend.  Our club has always come through for this race and the Rattlesnake race director gets compliments from athletes for how well the transition area - which is our Club's area - is run.

We're going to do it again this weekend and we still need some help.

One incredible opportunity for our Club is that for the first time, Rattlesnake Race Director and your fellow AMC member Jim Flint is letting us have (for FREE!) a tent spot in the celebration area down by the finish line.  These spots are usually sponsor tent spots and companies pay him hundreds of dollars to be there.  We'll have an AMC tent set up, we'll hang swag to get athletes' attention and we'll have Club members there (you? ) to tell interested athletes about our Club.

We could easily pick up 20 new members this weekend, strengthening our club and adding more characters to our ranks (just think of some of the characters you know from the Club!)

If you're racing, would a family member who is coming to support you be willing to help out for a while?

You'll have a great time either day.  Erin Trail, your hard working Club Treasurer, has bought snacks, and in keeping with the park's rules we'll have cans of 3.2 beer on hand (remember: that's 4% by volume!) and sodas, water, sports drinks. . . 

But best of all we'll have Altitude Multisport Club members.  We'll do excellent work and we'll have a blast.
