Re: [emrat:4859] Carburated (non Triumph) at altitude?

My brother in law in Tennessee is thinking about riding his Yamaha Cruiser
out for a visit this summer but is worried that it won't do well at
altitude. Tracey's Bonneville was jetted and does great and my (now Dan's) '76 did
OK although it lost some power above 10,000 feet. Anyone have experience and
can help him decide if this is a dumb idea and that he needs to rent a fuel
injected (or set up for altitude) bike when he gets here? He'd prefer to be
on his bike, the one he's used to.
