Re: [emrat:5264] Exciting New Additions to Sept. 19-21 Event!

Yep, as I mentioned September is prime riding season. Perhaps the majority of the attendees to the swap aren't the type of rider who leaves the area or their comfort zone. I'm sure it will be packed as usual regardless.

Perhaps the hope for better weather in September than in February.  But better weather also means a better chance that people will be out traveling / touring on their bikes, as I will be during that time frame.

Headed to Utah the 18th through the 22nd.   If anyone has some time free over that period and wants to go, let me know!

Very interesting news...I always enjoyed the swap being in February as Spring is just around the corner and the riding season begins soon. I wonder what the driving force was to move the swap to September during prime riding season. If anyone was in any way intimidated by the presence of the 1%'ers in February, I can only imagine how many will be representing their clubs at this year's swap.‎ This should proof to be very interesting.

Info on this year's Colorado Motorcycle Expo, to be held earlier than usual (Sep 19-21). New this year are 2015 Bike Previews -- apparently Triumph will be there, just not sure what will be on display.

Good afternoon everyone.

Just a quick update on the upcoming 3 Day Colorado Motorcycle Expo event Sept. 19-21 at the National Western Complex.

In addition to all the stuff listed at the bottom of this email, we've just added some exciting entertainment elements to the event:

The International Bikini Team Models will be there for 2 performances on Friday and another 2 on Saturday.

Denver's premier Rock Band Five 13 will be paying in the stadium.

There will be a Tattoo Show & Competition down in the stadium area. Come see some of the best tattoo artists in the country and maybe even walk away with some new ink of your own!

We've added about a dozen short classes/seminars on things like motorcycle maintenance, great road trips, & much more.

Also come out and listen to America's #1 extreme motorcycle adventurer!  Dr. Greg W. Frazier is the only motorcyclist in the world to have circumnavigated the globe five times solo by motorcycle. No stranger to danger, his adventures around the earth include having been shot at by rebels, jailed by unfriendly authorities, bitten by snakes, & run over by Pamplona bulls.

We'll also have world renowned motorcycle artist and Colorado resident David Uhl who will have a gallery displaying his works.

Remember everything mentioned above and all the attractions below are included for one ticket price!

We've got:

(i) The Country's Largest Motorcycle Swap Meet.  Come see hundreds of booths with used parts, accessories and other items for all types of motorcycles, Hogs Sports Bikes, Enduro, Adv. Bikes & more.

(ii) Huge Antique & Custom Motorcycle Show with 140+ bikes.  Turns out it's a lot easier to get guys interested in bringing their expensive bikes down to the show when they don't have to drive through a snow storm and miss the Broncos playing in the Super Bowl!   The Bike Show will be moved upstairs where there will be more room for it- allowing us to fit in another 25-30 bikes.

(iii) One of kind Motorcycle Auction.   This is a new feature that we are really excited about!  We'll have everything from rare vintage & customs to used street bikes. There will be something for every taste and every budget.

(iv) 2015 Bike Previews from all Major Manufacturers.  This is another new feature for the Fall Show.  The main room will have displays from all the major brands including: Harley, Indian, Victory, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Triumph & BMW.   See all the new 2015 Models in one place.

(v) Entertainment in the Stadium Lots of entertainment like the International Bikini Team, and the bands Five 13 and the Once Removed Blues Band.

For more info on the show go to www.ColoradoMotorcycleExpo.com.  You can also register for a booth in the swap meet, enter your bike in the show or sign up to sell your bike in the auction.

Enjoy your Summer and stay safe!
