Webinar To Address Health Equity in Violence Prevention On July 31, 2014, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET, the Prevention Institute, in collaboration with OJJDP, Futures Without Violence, and the Native Streams Institute, will present the Webinar “All Communities Are Not Created Equal: How a Health Equity Approach Enhances Violence Prevention Efforts.” This Webinar will explore how violence prevention strategies can better address disproportionate health outcomes based on race, class, sexual orientation, and ability. The Webinar is based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report “A Practitioner’s Guide for Advancing Health Equity: Community Strategies for Preventing Chronic Disease.” Resources: Register for this free Webinar.
