Re: [emrat:5300] Re: tiger 800 heat

Wear proper gear and it's not an issue in my opinion. 24K miles on my Tiger in extreme heat and that includes Death Valley last July with temp's in the 120's F and I wasn't overly bothered by the heat on my legs...all motorcycles throw heat off the engine as it is right there next to your legs...some more than others.

Yes, my xc is a cooker.  No way can I wear shorts under my Olympia mesh pants!

Hello all you Tiger 800 and 800 XC riders out there.  This morning I took a test ride on an 800 and was loving it until about half way through the ride when I began to feel like my right leg was on fire.  Lots of heat emanating from the triple.  Have any of you confronted this issue?

Thanks,
