Please see the email below and the attached flyer (in English and Spanish) regarding the Comcast Internet Essentials Affordable Internet Access for Students program.  They have an affordable rate of $9.95/month for internet services for families with kids in the free/reduced lunch programs at their school.  It can also include a computer for $149 as well as basic computer lessons.

A special low-cost internet program offered by Comcast,  offers home internet services for families that qualify for the free and reduced lunch program for $9.95/month. With school back in session, we want to be sure families know about this offer, knowing the impact that the digital divide has on student achievement.

 

Here is a brief synopsis of the program. Attached is a flyer (in English AND Spanish). Comcast will gladly print and ship hard copies of the materials to any school, site, office etc. that wishes to have them on hand for distribution to families, so the cost/burden of production does NOT fall to the program/site.
