I am having dental surgery tomorrow morning, so depending on how I feel I may miss the meeting.  If so, here are some suggestions for the 2014 calendar:

 

Martin;  should we do a Chuck Ferrari memorial ride in March again?

 

Bullet Bob; EMRAT dual-sport ride/over nighter?

 

Indy MotoGP race, AUG 15-17; my tentative plans are to fly out on the 14th and return on the 18th, renting a car for transportation while there.  On FRI, 8/15, in the evening, I plan on going to the AMA Indy Mile National dirt track race at the state fairgrounds, which are on the other side of Indianapolis from the Speedway.  Rich and myself, along with Bullet Bob, his son, and others did this in 2012.  We all met at a golf course restaurant on the way to the dirt track race and had a very good time.  If any EMRATS are interested in doing this for this year's race, let's start the discussion.

I vote we make Jake's our regular monthly meeting place.

Hi Guys,

 

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

 

Looks like Manuel received word that the Rack House is unavailable for Jan so we will once again be meeting at "Jakes Food and Spirits" 3800 Walnut St, Denver, CO 80205. At our normal 7:00pm meeting time.

 

This will serve as our annual "Calendar Planning" session so please come with suggestions for Group Rides/Meeting Topics/Guest Speakers/Other Events that you would like to see added to our 2014 calendar.

 

Oh and we probably should explore the possibility of finding a more reliable/suitable meeting spot for our monthly meetings…. Getting "bumped" on a regular basis really SUCKS!  So if you have some suggestions for meeting spots bring them to Tuesday's meeting as well.
